Women's Footwear Tips
- Footwear with Heels will MakeYour Legs Appear Thinner -The heels don't have to be terribly high,but there's no doubt that if you want to appear slimmer, a bit ofa heel will help dramatically.
- Pointy Toe Footwear will Help Make Legs Appear Longer - If yourlegs look longer, they will also appear thinner - and shoes with pointytoes will help make your legs seem longer. So, even if you think yourlegs are long enough, if it's a thinner appearance you're after, trya shoes with pointed toes.
- Match Your Footwear to Your Hose or Tights - Matching your shoesto your hose or tights, when wearing a skirt or a dress will helpyour legs look thinner.
- Opened-Toed Footwear - Shoes with an open toe or high heeled sandalswill give your thighs and calves a slimmer appearance than a closed-toeshoe will.

Some tips to prevent foot problems
- Shop for footwear at the end of the day when your feet have swelledfrom hours of standing and walking. Buy athletic shoes within an hourof exercising.
- Don't buy Footwear that aren't comfortable right out of the box.Odds are they won't get better.
- Make sure there is a half-inch space from the tip of your longesttoe to the end of the shoe.
- Your feet aren't identical, so the mate of a shoe that feels fineon one foot may not fit the other. Try on both shoes.
- Recognize when workout shoes are worn out. Put your shoes on a countertop and look at them from behind. If they're rolling inward or outward,or the tread is worn down, they're no longer giving you adequate supportor shock absorption. Replace them.
- If you've had pain in the ball of your foot, avoid women's dressshoes with a heel of more than two inches in height. Stick with one-inchheels or lower.
Men'sFootwear Tips
- Try to pick a shoe that matches, or is darker than your pants.
- Although it is a safe bet, socks do not need to match your shoes.Instead, think of your socks as you would a tie - an item that canbring bring the whole outfit together.
- If wearing a belt, try to match your shoes to it, unless of course,your belt is some multi-colored striped thing.

Men's Shoes for Dress Pants
